Crazy Love – Francis Chan
Does something deep inside your heart long to break free from the status quo? Are you hungry for an authentic faith that addresses the problems of our world with tangible, even radical, solutions? God is calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself. Because the answer to religious complacency isn’t working harder at a list of do’s and don’ts—it’s falling in love with God. Because when you’re wildly in love with someone, it changes everything.

Forgotten God – Francis Chan
In the name of the Father, the Son, and … the Holy Spirit. We pray in the name of all three, but how often do we live with an awareness of only the first two? As Jesus ascended into heaven, He promised to send the Holy Spirit–the Helper–so that we could be true and living witnesses for Christ. Unfortunately, today’s church has admired the gift but neglected to open it.Thorough scriptural support and compelling narrative form Francis Chan’s invitation to stop and remember the One we’ve forgotten, the Spirit of the living God.

The Christian Atheist – Craig Groeschel

Does your belief in God impact your life? If the answer is no, you may be a Christian Atheist. A Christian Atheist is someone who believes in God, but lives like He doesn’t exist–you believe in God, but worry all the time, or you believe in God, but trust money more. Discover a powerful, intimate relationship with God for yourself and you’ll never be the same.

ReChurch – Stephen Mansfield

The greatest thing about this book in my eyes is that you can take Mansfield’s suggestions and apply them to any type of hurt, bitterness, or fragmented relationships in your life. While a superb book on getting over the “church hurt” and getting back into a church serving, Mansfield does wonders explaining our responsibility for how hurt negatively effects us and our relationship with God. Ultimately, WE decide how to let the hurt or betrayal affect us and our lives. We can “take the bait” and be caught in the “animal trap” of bitterness or we can learn how to forgive in a real and meaningful way that eliminates the negative. If you’ve ever been hurt in a church I challenge you…read this book! You won’t regret it.
