The Experience

Visiting a church can be a frightening thing. You may feel like people are watching you or maybe that people will judge you. “Will the preacher condemn me from the stage?” “Will they point me out?” “Will they judge me if I look differently than they do?”

A few tips to help you when you visit SVWC:

  • - Feel free to come casual or dressy. We have no dress code – whatever makes you comfortable is great with us.
  • - Sit anywhere you like, there are no assigned seats.
  • - Beware of friendly people – someone WILL welcome you.
  • - We are not after your money! Guests are encouraged to enjoy the visit with NO obligation to give.
  • - Relax. You don’t have to pretend your life is perfectly in order. You’ll find a place where you can be yourself and… no one will point you out.

Our gatherings include a high-energy time of worship and a message that communicates biblical truth in a relevant and meaningful way. We’re probably not your mama’s church experience.

  • - It’s loud.
  • - It’s casual.
  • - It’s high energy.
  • - It’s authentic.
  • - It’s truth filled and Christ centered.

What about my kids?

You are welcome to keep your children in the service with you or you may check them in with our Kids Connect Ministries.

Kids Connect is an experience just for kids (birth thru 6th grade). 0-2yr olds can be checked into our Kids Connect nursery at anytime. 3-12yr olds may be checked in, in the back of the sanctuary and stay in the worship experience through the singing portion of the service. Then the children and their teachers are dismissed to our SVWC Activities Center across from our main building where they may be picked up after the adult service is over. It’s not just a babysitting situation. It’s a time of teaching from God’s word through material that is relevant and age-appropriate for the kids.

*Warning- SVWC is not a perfect church, but we strive to make it a “perfect place for imperfect people.”

We would love to see you this Sunday at 10:00am.  For more info, please contact us
